Kachemak View: “Skyline Series”

Places, seen and traveled, mark events in our lives. A childhood, an adventure, a discovery, etc…
I wanted to share those places with you in this series by highlighting areas around Alaska.

Kachemak View is an artistically depicted skyline of the view seen from Homer, Alaska. A layered skyline of mountains framed by two pieces of sea kelp and a flowing bay. The pendent has rays of sun coming up from behind the mountains.

For me, Homer is a special place. As a teen, I would drive down to Homer from Anchorage every summer to spend time with my friend, Ellie. Years later and with our husbands close friends too, we still regularly take the drive to visit and carve out some adventure: Biking across the bay, adventures in Halibut cove, Jakalof Island, fresh food at the Saltry, treks to Red Mountain, kayaking, fishing in China Poot, renting yurts, and staying in island cabins.

Made in collaboration with @adriftprints and you’ll receive an original print of her artwork entitled “Across the Bay” with your order. Please message me at the time of order with what size print you would like - 9x14 or 5x8 1/2.

Pendent is Cast with 100% reclaimed silver. Chain is 1.1mm Sterling Silver.

*Each piece is made to order - with a 3 week order to shipping time frame.

Kachemak View is the second installment of the “Skyline Collection” and was made in collaboration with local artist Kristin Vantrease with Adrift Prints. Please check them out on Instagram @adriftprints

*These pieces are handcrafted and may have small imperfections or irregularities in the silver which are part of what makes this piece truly unique and one of a kind.
